Vintage Handmade Patchwork collection Quilt

Vintage handmade patchwork quilt. Quilt measures approximately 77" x 67" and is machine quilted in an all-over design. Backing is plain muslin.

This quilt features collection nine 25-Patch blocks with a small pieced border on top and bottom of quilt. One block has been repaired with denim squares embroidered with a red flower design (please refer to photographs). The repair blends nicely though and is not noticeable in the overall appearance of the quilt. I think it just adds to the unique charm of the quilt. Fabric types used in piecing the quilt vary.

This quilt is in good, vintage, used condition.

I estimate the top to have been pieced in the 1940's. However, machine quilting, repaired block and backing are of current materials.
