Collection Rare 1920s Art Deco Royal Sovereign Writing Box with Calligraphy Pens and Pencils

collection A rare find, this fabulous original antique Art Deco wooden writing box was made by Royal Sovereign during the 1920s. The box is classic Art Deco shape with a clip clasp and hinged at the back. The box opens to reveal compartments holding various writing implements - some of the pencils and other items in the box are collectable too. The box is beautiful - the original notebook is intact there are various pencils including Royal Sovereign, an old pencil sharpener in a case, calligraphy pens and more. The trays pull out to reveal more compartments (see photos provided) holding further wiriting implements. A superb piece with just water damage to the front which I have demonstrated in the photographs, but over all an exciting and rare item that has stood the test of time.

Condition: Good to Very good - There is water damage to the front of the box and some wear generally (please study photographs), but over all good to very good with original implements intact. A rare find.

Age: 1920s - some implements dater slightly later, but generally they are 1920s - 1950s.
