Gorgeous and joyful fermentation crock with funny hand painted drawings of women's figures holding their hands for Horo dance, with vegetables between them - carrot, cabbage, radish.
Ceramic jar for preparing sauerkraut or any other fermented vegetables.
Height 7 1/2 in (without lid - 5 in); mouth - outside diameter 9 in.; inside diameter - 6 1/2 in. Capacity 80 oz, or 10 cups.
2 half weights. Covered with blue glaze inside. Outside is not glazed, covered only with drawings made with underglaze paints - these are fired to 2232 F and can not be erased when collection washed.
The total weight of the pot, lid and the weights is 9 pounds.
The jar is hand thrown on a wheel, bisque fired, glazed with toxic free glazes and fired again to 2232 F.
