Antique Aztec Mayan Hand Carved Unsealed Wood God / Warrior Statue Mexico 16" Seated statue holding a basket of offerings and wearing a feather headress. The face, basket and headress indicate that this may be a different Chac Mool related carving than the usual collection ones prone on their back. He has a Great character revealed in the stong artwork and details. The wood is not sealed and was made with some wormholes on the left bottom side that some folks may find interesting and attractive. Approx. 16" Tall. Lots of textural interest. Unsigned. Circa early to mid 1900s. Mexico. Approx 16” Tall. Good previously owned antique condition. Has signs of use and age that may include wear, scratches, marks, dust, stains, hits or loss of finish, but I did not see anything worth noting The statue was made from wood with some worm holes that some folks may find interesting and attractive.
