Pendant necklace, Silk/cotton fabric, "Tinctory style", handmade

Fabric was pleated and smocked/stitched by hand
Wire was used to achieve shape, fabric manipulation

Chain/clasp is "antiqued"silver, chain is embellished with two gold colored Swarovski crystal beads and brown seed beads

Pendant was smocked with embroidery thread and beaded with gold colored seed beads

Primary color is black with bits of browns and white, actual silk cotton fabric used is a print which changes when gathered into collection pleats

Piece looks "tribal" or like a feather...

The raw edge adds to the charm..
