C Butler Jones Ceramic Cat collection Coin Bank Vintage Art Pottery

Whimsical, charming, delightful! Created in the 1980's and signed by the artist (C Butler Jones), this rare and adorable cat bank titled "Pay Through The Nose" is in great vintage, pre-owned condition. Stopper, wire whiskers, and the "fur" on the ears and mouth are all intact although the fur is in the process of pulling away due to the age of the glue. Small, slight markings are on the cat (see photos) collection and have been taken into consideration in the pricing. Perhaps they can be cleaned away but I wasn't willing to take the chance that I'd make it worse as my experience with unglazed ceramic is limited. Other than that, this Cat Bank is in incredible condition with no chips or scratches ~ its obvious this piece has been well loved and stored with careful intent.
