Vtg collection 1948 Photo Suicide Victim Robert Walters Jeanette Ann Bakery Battlecreek Mi

This offering is for an original ca 1948 photograph of Robert L. Walters, a victim of suicide. Robert Walters was the owner of Jeanette Ann Bakery in Battle Creek Michigan. The image is not dated or identified to him specifically, but if you research the name of the bakery with the address collection as shown on the van you will find a newspaper article in the Battle Creek Enquirer and News dated Feb. 24, 1948 that describes the poor mans unfortunate passing. The image shows Mr Walters as he was found by police laying on the seat of his delivery truck having died of asphyxiation. The photo measures app. 3 1/8" by 4.25" including the borders. The condition is excellent with only very very minor wear with no bends, creases, tears or repairs.
