This is a very nice hand-painted art pottery ewer made by Hubert Bequet, Belgium and decorated with a wood grain background and a running/leaping deer or stag and highlighted with gold. The large pitcher is high and has an impressed: 'Belgium 169 and gold painted 'B' on the base. There is no chips, cracks, or repairs.
