Vintage Sterling Silver and Gold Dog Hound Brooch German Shepherd Alsatian Dog Antique Brooch, Silver collection Dog Brooch, Gold Dog Brooch Art Deco

Here is an antique vintage silver and gold dog brooch. The dog is in silver and it collection is a well carved Alsatian or German Shepherd dog with its tongue out! It sits within a gold bar brooch. The brooch is stamped 15 and if tested I believe it would test as real gold.

The dog is stamped to the back 'SILVER'.

This good brooch measures approx 48mm in length.

It weighs 6 grams.

It is in good condition with minimal age and use wear. Any age wear or marks you see are from manufacture. Please note this brooch has been modified, I don't believe the dog originally was on the gold bar brooch, it's been soldered on (in gold) to make this brooch up. It's good and solid and a one off bespoke modified item.
