"Boat Studies"
These are four studies in gouache of some boats I found at Smith Mountain Lake collection in Virginia. It is painted on paper and mounted on a gator board. It is suitable for matting and or framing.

*Gouache is a water based medium similar to watercolor but it is opaque, not transparent- so different effects are achieved. I enjoy using gouache on location for its easy portability and clean up and it makes a lovely small painting.

This is a one of a kind, unframed original piece of artwork.

This framed lightweight painting is 7 inches by 11 inches.
