Vintage cocktail watch ladies Douglas Art Deco style 17 Jewels runs 10K Rolled gold plated bezel collection 30s 40s 50s era costume MCM petite pretty!

Beautiful & petite vintage ladies cocktail watch that runs! This has great Art Deco styling, with a warm burnished gold metal color! I set and wound it a few times, and it ran on time over 3 hours. Although, it is NOT guaranteed to keep perfect time. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that it is brought to your local jeweler for advice on it's use and care. This includes never winding or setting while it's on your arm, and NEVER overwinding it, which would ruin it instantly. But with proper use and care, vintage watches can last many years! This is marked 10K rolled gold plated, and has a really nice warm gold tone finish! The face is collection cream colored and is marked Douglas, 17 Jewels, Swiss, with a little star symbol. The hands and numbers are shiny gold. The crystal is very curved and thick, and DOES have quite a few scratches. The watch has scratches and signs of wear, overall. The back is marked 1d, 10K RGP bezel, stainless steel back. This is a fairly small size, measuring about 6.25 inches in total length, unstretched. It just barely fit my 6.6 inch wrist, so best for a wrist slightly smaller than that. Really nice vintage petite cocktail watch! Would be perfect for everyday vintage flair, or to wear out to dinner, for a wedding or special occasion, etc. Would also work well for a 30's - 60s era film or stage costume or prop. Cute!
