Some spotting inside the clear cover can be seen at an angle. The clock takes 1 x AA battery, and the music/motion takes 4 x C batteries. No Batteries Included. 12 Hour Display Analog. I could not get it to play on the hour, until I realized It needs a bright light in the room for the sensor to work. With enough light, it sounds beautiful on the hour. Bottom section of crystals rotates continuously as long as there is enough light in the room for the sensor.
