Large collection Oval Antique White Ironstone Oval Platter, LILY of the VALLEY Shape, James Edwards, 1861

This Staffordshire white ironstone platter measures 18 1/2 by 13 inches - very large. This is Lily of the Valley Shape. It was made in the James Edwards pottery which registered this shape in 1861.

Condition is excellent. No chips or cracks. Its color is the white with bluish undertones of early ironstone.
