My signed "Angel" piece features dozens of individually hand-layered driftwood pieces, a beach pebble, dried moss, and a rusty metal halo fashioned into an angel. I've placed her on a white, linen-finish backing surrounded by a white over black double mat. The dark walnut frame measures approximately 18" wide by 22" high (outside measurements) and is perfect for any space you want to add a touch of nature. It will look great leaning on a wall while sitting on a shelf or it can be hung by the sawtooth hanger on the back.

I do not use shadow boxes, glass, nor plexiglass in my driftwood art as I believe they will distract from, and obscure the 3-dimensional aspect of the art. The various shadows that are created by changing light patterns on the tree branches throughout the day add texture and life to the piece.

The artwork you will receive is the actual piece in the photos. NOTE: While we wish all monitors showed colors in the same way and as true to life as possible, different monitors display colors differently . . . even two identical monitors purchased at the same time and set up next to each other. So, while I'm sending you the exact piece shown in my photos, the colors may be slightly different than what you see.

Most of my driftwood is found on my searches in the beautiful streams, rivers, and lakes of Pennsylvania and on the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean.
