This player HAS BEEN tested. The VCR side of the player was tested with two different tapes, and each of the tapes would produce an un-tracked still image with no audio. The VHS side of the player produces a grinding noise when attemping to play the tape, and then the system shuts itself off. The DVD side was tested and functions properly. Other parts of the system were not tested, but all of the connections/ports are tight and in good shape. A remote for collection the system IS NOT included. With the exception of some media items (books, DVDs, etc.), listings show photos of the exact item to be shipped. Please inspect the photos carefully.
