1940s SILK 2 collection Piece Dress - Silk Suit - Tree Print - Novelty Print Suit - Pin Up Suit - Jacket and Skirt Set - VLV - A Line Skirt

Truly incredible 1940's all silk 2 piece dress consisting of a 3/4 sleeve, button front jacket and a flattering collection A line skirt. Jacket has a nice wide collar, wing tip cuffs and self covered fabric buttons down the front. Skirt is flat in the front, but the back has 4 gores in the back creating a swing. Skirt zips up the side with a metal teeth zipper and 2 sets of hook and eyes at the waistband. Best of all the fabric print is black tree silhouettes on a coral/rust background!
Overall good condition - there some light color fade/discoloration on the jacket shoulders and near the hem of the skirt. Skirt also has a small hole on the back near the hem (see photo). There's light wear and a tiny hole on the edge of the last button on the jacket.
