Haithabu Viking suspended dress collection

collection Viking Haithabu suspended dress made of fine brown wool finished with stripes of gray ribbed wool. Suspenders sew double have on the end the loops, so it is possible to pin them on the front with fibel brooches. As the overdress it was worn over the linnen underdress. Haithabu in old time Hedeby was in X century famous port. From a find in Haithabu comes the form of suspended Dress .
