Donut collection Racing Quilt

Donut Racing gets it name from the donut style quilt block, or hug block, with the race car drivers retro style.

These blocks were inspired by a select few pieces of fabric I had left over from another gifted quilt. I love the little men drivers who remind me of the Playmobile style toys my brother had as a kid, and with the retro feel colours what's not to love.

The background collection fabric is one of my favourite Riley Blake small black pindots on cream background.....it goes with everything...and looks so stylish with the Denyse Schmidt figure 8 loop textured quilting I quilted myself.

This is a cute little quilt that wopuld make a fabulous retro inspired gift for a wee boy.

The binding is machine stitched for durability and will withstand copious amounts of washing after much love.
