Beautiful Red Vintage MCM Red Glass Murano Bullicante Ash Tray, Candy or Trinket Dish collection

This is a beautiful multi-use piece of what I have been told is Murano Bullicante (bubble glass). The red is vivid. The bubbles are larger toward the bottom of the glass, smaller at the top. It is heavy (almost 2 pounds) and is in wonderful vintage condition. There is one very small flea bite on the edge of the pontil, that almost looks like an "exploded" bubble ( it is not really visible, but you can feel it--see the last photo). This piece is approximately 7 inches wide at the top, 2 1/4 inches high, and the pontil is approximately 1 3/4 inches in diameter. This is a beautiful piece of collection collectible and colorful glass, very Mid Century Modern, and could be used as a trinket dish, candy dish, or of course as an ash tray. Just lovely.
