German .835 Solid Silver Pastry, collection Sandwich Tongs - Hildesheimer Rose

Vintage 20th century German .835 solid silver cake, pastry tongs or pliers with reticulated design and ornate flower pattern. The scissor type flat handles are decorated with scroll motifs. In good condition with age tarnish and surface scratches. No dents, splits or repairs to note. No monograms.

Stamped with the German '835' standard hallmark for .835 collection silver fineness. Silversmith mark is for the manufactory of Christoph Bach, Ellmendingen bei Pforzheim. Founded in 1925.
