Designed by accomplished pen designer David Broadwell, this pen comes to life with custom casted 3-D Art deco design components in 24kt gold.

All exposed accent rings, bands and caps include elegant custom casted 3 dimensional Art Deco designs. Components are cast, polished and plated with 22kt gold plate and Rhodium. Includes spires and starbursts that characterize the Art Deco period and a radiant Swarovski Crystal with art deco design on the pen clip.

The cap easily twists onto the end when writing and feature another 3-D cast and more art deco designs.

Rhodium is a precious metal, a member of the platinum family. Rhodium electroplating is used, especially on jewelry, to provide a surface that will resist scratches and tarnish, and give a white, reflective appearance. Rhodium plating is most often found on white gold in jewelry as helps the piece to keep its good looks longer collection - rhodium will not tarnish or discolor, and since it is a harder substance, it is much less likely to get scratched.

The wood chosen for this pen is a beautiful piece of Amboyna Burl. Amboyna burl has been described as "one of the rarest and most expensive woods in the world". The scarcity of burl in the logs translates into rather high prices, as do its demand for use in high-end woodwork. Amboyna burl has been used for the some of the highest quality architectural woodwork and is in fact the first burl wood used for dashboards by Rolls Royce.
