This large silver brooch is a lovely piece. We believe that this is an Asian Art Deco Yogya brooch. The ornate silver is a little unusual as it has a brown/black agate set in the centre and it has a scrolling foliage and lotus design. This Yogya brooch is oxidised, to emphasize the sculptured details as is common with these pieces. The brooch is marked 800 and there is a partial mark which is hidden by a replacement rollover clasp.

The brooch is in good vintage condition with wear appropriate to age. This brooch would make a lovely gift for someone special.
