Great set of handmade cufflinks with original very rare vintage 50 Lire 1971 coins from The Italian Republic.

The coins have been made into cufflinks using high quality bullet back closures.

The coins and the cufflink backs are silver in color.

The coins in this set are dated 1971.

These coins are glued with a special adhesive, very strong and durable even at temperatures up to collection 180 °.

Like much of Europe, Italy has adopted the Euro as its currency in 2002.

Many of these Pre-Euro coins were recalled and melted and are now difficult to find.

These cufflinks are made up of:
Italy 50 lire coin 1971. Circulated but almost new. Very rare coin. 46years old. 46th birthday, 46
Obverse: Head right adorned with feminine branch; around Republic * Italian *, under the neck, in two rows Romagnoli Giampaoli inc.
Reverse: Volcano on the left, beating the iron on the anvil, the sides and the value of the date and under the sign of the brand.

The coins have not been cleaned to preserve the original patina and are in excellent condition.
