18x24" Canyon Waterfall - Original Oil Painting and collection YouTube video link. Original Canvas by Josh Kirkham

Hi there! Today we painted this scene on 18x24" canvas. It features clouds, over a starfilled sky, (See if you can find the big dipper!) and a giant canyon wall with a waterfall, stream, and fog around the base of 5 evergreen trees.

Starting with blue and sea green I covered the canvas and then painted mainly with white paint. All of these beautiful hues appear and our painting started to take shape. I did the moon and clouds first, then the cliff wall and waterfall. Then came the trees and finally the river with kts rushing water.
