Native American ZUNI Crushed Turquoise Ring Size 5 collection 1/4

The Zuni are famous for many iconic designs and working with so much variety. My favorite thing about this piece is the beautiful blue of the crushed turquoise inlay. The cluster shapes seem to float like pieces of sky in the silver petals. Just over 1" tall and 5/8" wide. 12.19 gr.


In collection 1979 a dear friend's mother closed her Native American jewelry store, "Mi Rosita", located for many years in Old Town State Park in San Diego California (see business card). The inventory went into storage and is now coming to market, all guaranteed to date prior to 1979. Every year the shop would close for a month so Rose and her husband could travel through the Southwest learning and buying from many individual artists and makers including Bell Trading.
