I purchased several arm fulls of used lath from a salvage store in Baltimore and I used some of lath collection for creations you'll see at this shop. After doing this work, I found myself with quite a few short pieces of lath left over and I decided to figure out a way to use this left-over lath in a project. Here's the result. It is a herringbone pattern (or even a wave like pattern) that can be used in just about any room. I stained the pieces with antique white or American walnut and and left the remaining pieces the natural color that came with age. While the pattern is simple, it's appearance on the wall is not. It is a striking visual piece that bring pizzazz to any room. If you're looking for an interesting addition to your den, hallway or man cave, this is the right piece for you.
