Katherine Stokes began her career as a radiologic technologist in 2007. While working at a variety of hospitals and clinics throughout the bay area, she quickly became a nationally registered CT and MRI technologist. Through her work performing radiologic exams she noticed a common discomfort amongst her patients. In a compassionate effort to alleviate back pain, the Spongie was born. These patented designed support cushions have been used on the job providing her patients with instant relief. Due to the high volume of requests from the community desiring to bring Spongies home, she decided to make them available to all collection those in pain.
