Carved collection Virgin Mary Wood Panel Folk Art

collection Beautiful primitive carved Virgin Mary wearing crown with hands clasped in prayer, with three- dimensional carved out stars or flowers at her feet and around sides. It's an asymmetrical natural looking lightweight wood with visible striations, and the back looks like the bark was just barely removed -- I don't know wood type, sorry. I can find no signatures or other marks.

14 1/2" high, 5 1/4" wide, about 1 1/4" thick at thickest. Great vintage condition overall -- the center of one flower/star is missing, on bottom left.
